Dedicated to “American Efficiency”

One letter, the letter f, can fasten/unfasten a bolt.
One letter, the letter f, here shows its efficiency as a lever.

F is for Ford which lends its name to Fordism, defined by Victoria de Grazie in ‘Irresistible Empire: America’s Advance Through
20th Century Europe’ as: ‘the eponymous manufacturing system designed to spew out standardized, low-cost goods and afford
its workers decent enough wages to buy them’.

The work is dedicated to American efficiency, which has been the motor for an increase in opportunity worldwide, though it is
certainly not without its opponents.
